Our shop provides excellent customer service, a friendly environment, and a wonderful atmosphere for everyone who visits. We also make it a point to follow all safety protocols and keep the place clean and sanitized. 

Though we opened up shop in 2020, we have decades of experience between us. Our barbers are talented and skilled professionals with an eye for detail. They are attentive to what you want and do their best to help you look your best.

We believe that men with impeccable character and excellent grooming habits will achieve their full potential. Our goal is to groom our clients, prioritize their needs, and help them look their best. We cater to all gentlemen, regardless of age or style. Whether you’re fourteen or seventy-five, we’ll work hard to provide you with the best service possible.

Tony stayed cutting for 2 years before opening his first shop called “Notorious Cuts” in his old stomping grounds of Bensonhurst Brooklyn. In 2000 Tony felt that he was ready for the big leagues and opened up Notorious Cuts 2, in the Dyker area of Brooklyn. It was at that location where tony really came into his own not just as a barber but as a businessman with an uncanny knack of creating a comfortable, friendly but still edgy environment which produced some of the best haircuts in Brooklyn. After 8 years at Notorious Cuts 2, Tony Touch moved shop 1 block over and opened “BKNY Barbers” and remained there for the last 15 years — until now. In January 2020 Tony decided to make his biggest career move yet and open up Dapper Cats Barber Lounge. With careful thinking and precise judgment, Tony was able to employ an unbelievable Dream team of barbers whose names ring bells from Brooklyn to Staten Island, with each barber having over 20 years+ experience. “I’m confident in saying that our staff at Dapper Cats Barber Lounge is the BEST of the BEST on the Island!”

Born and raised in Brooklyn, 42 years old, most people know me as Walter “Blowout” the Barber! I’ve been cutting hair since the age of 14. From apartment hallways to shops all around Brooklyn in the mid/late 90s, I made a name for myself by cutting with a creative approach and always paying attention to my clients and the details!

James Camacho

James Camacho is a Master’s Licensed Barber with 20 years of experience. He is certified in the prevention of transmission of contagious diseases and infection control.

As such, he is well versed in sterilization, sanitation, and disinfection techniques. James is a Brooklyn native with a reputation for excellence and precision. He is always up to date with the newest hairstyles and trends. In his chair, you will feel confident and relaxed due to his professionalism, technique, and charm. He styles hair eccentricities with ease, is able to deliver elaborate hair designs, and executes popular hairstyles upon request. Clients leave his chair feeling invigorated and educated on how to replicate and maintain their style at home. He has a deep passion for his craft. I was born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island. 36 years of age, with 20+ years of experience. Cutting hair since I was 15 years old. Took about 2 years of practicing on friends before I felt ready to start working in a barbershop. I enjoy the art today just as much as when I first started.

When I was a kid I would love to draw , sing , act and b a comedian . Took me a long time to figure out what it is I really wanted to do for the rest of my life! Went to music school graduated but never went to pursue it any further, my next option was to get my license to become a barber and that’s when I knew this is what I wanted to do forever! I put my artistic ability’s to the test and was pretty surprised how well I did ! Over the past 15 years I’ve perfected my craft to become the master barber I am today and I love what I do! It’s always been a pleasure of mine to make other people feel happy bout themselves for any occasion they may have or even if they didn’t and just wanted to get a fresh cut ! The ability to make someone smile within our profession is priceless, so please don’t hesitate to ask for geo for ur next awesome haircut!
